But Rochester Lourdes had his unbeaten and top-ranked Minneapolis De La Salle Islanders on the ropes for a good portion of Friday night's Class AAA state quarterfinals football game, before falling 48-36. Through 11 games, the Islanders were never tested; the closest margin of victory was 20 points. They were outscoring all opponents, 53-10.
